This weekend we went up to Cody to visit the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. They have tons of photos and artifacts from Bill’s time as a buffalo hunter and from his touring cowboy show that traveled all over the US and the world. Including stagecoaches from the show and a recreation of the tent he lived in on the road.

The museum also has a large collection of western art and one of the largest collections of guns in the world.

They also have incredible exhibits on the plants, animals and geology of the region. As well as a raptor rehabilitation center with a golden eagle!

On the way home we stopped at the Wyoming Dinosaur Center in Thermopolis. Dig sites in the area are actively contributing to the museum.

This past week we also went on a cool hike up the Sacred Rim Trail. There was a lot of snow and downed trees along the way but the views at the top were very worth it.

We only saw tracks on the hike but no actual creatures. There are plenty of deer in Pinedale though and a few local moose. We even saw a mama and baby!

We are really making the most of our time here. Next weekend my mom and Riley are coming up to visit!
