Goodbye Charlotte
Goodbye, Charlotte! Sad to leave this morning but excited to keep our travels going. Next stop, the shores of Lake Michigan! We’ve also finalized our first stops for 2024! We’ll be in Santa Fe in January and San Diego, February through May.

Asheville
What a great weekend in Asheville. We went on three separate hikes. The first one up to Mt. Pisgah. Then we took a trip out to Max Patch. And one last hike up to Rattlesnake Lodge. Where we saw a bear by the side of the road! We of course also did lots of eating…

Charlotte shenanigans
A fun busy week in Charlotte! We saw Cody Jinks at the Skyla Amphitheater. Went to a Charlotte Knights game on Dino Night! Visited the U.S. National Whitewater Center. And took a stroll through Freedom Park. Only a couple weeks left here. We are going to miss Charlotte!

Savannah, GA
This weekend we headed south to Savannah. We visited some great new spots including a nice rooftop bar at the Drayton Inn. And returned to a couple favorites from our last trip, including McDonoughs for some rowdy karaoke and Jen’s and Friends’ for martinis. We spent a day at the beach out on Tybee Island…

It was a beautiful Easter Sunday in North Carolina and we celebrated with a hike at Crowders Mountain near Gastonia, NC.

It’s a rainy Saturday in Charlotte, perfect weather to check out the NASCAR Hall of Fame!

Charlotte!
Charlotte, NC On the way to Charlotte, we passed through Charleston, WV and made quick stops to see the waterfalls at the Gauley Bridge and the New River Gorge Bridge. West Virginia is gorge-ous! There were lots of beautiful pink trees flowering along the highway. Then it was on to North Carolina. We made it!
