This past weekend we took advantage of the dry and relatively cooler weather (only in the 80s with 75% humidity 🥵) and did a couple of nice local hikes. First Raccoon Mountain where I unfortunately completely forgot to take pictures of the reservoir, dam and hydroelectric plant.




Then Signal Mountain out to Edward’s Point Overlook. There was a cool old hanging bridge and we saw a couple of probably Copperhead snakes at Rainbow Lake on the way. It was very creepy to see how fast they can swim.












Nice to get back out there, even in the heat!
