Last weekend we headed to Toulouse, France. We got the recommendation from Riley and found direct flights from Valencia for €40! Couldn’t pass that up.
We wandered all around the old city center and along the banks of the Garonne river. Toulouse is nicknamed La Ville Rose because of the pink bricks used in the traditional architecture.
We visited La Basilique Saint-Sernin
Le Capitole
Le Cathedrale de Saint-Etienne
And Basilique Notre-Dame de la Daurade
It’s an incredibly charming city! On the way back we had very cool views of the Pyrenees and the City of Arts and Science in Valencia.
Another fantastic weekend and we’ve only got a couple left! Next weekend: Madrid.
