This week Fallas wrapped up with La Cremà, a burning of all the monuments to ashes. We went to see the burning of my favorite falla in the nearby neighborhood of Russafa.
A beautiful piece of art gone up in flames in a matter of minutes! A truly wild experience.
We also made it back to our neighborhood in time to see our local falla.
And just like that, it’s all over. The cleanup trucks arrived in our neighborhood within the hour and the next day it was like nothing happened.

It was an amazing 2.5 week experience, but I think I’ve experienced enough fireworks to last a lifetime!
