We arrived in Valencia one week ago! We’re pretty much all settled in after a few trips to Carrefour, a shop like Meijer (for the Michiganders) or Target+. The local mall is right across from the City of Arts and Sciences, which makes for a delightful shopping trip.
Our apartment is in a quiet part of town next to a buzzy neighborhood called Russafa. So many youths out partying in the area this weekend! And there was a carnival parade on Saturday night.
This first weekend we’ve mostly wandered around the city taking in the sights. I also got Chris to got to the botanic garden with me (something we missed last time we were here).
Off to a good start!
