Grand Junction, CO

We’ve had a great first week in Grand Junction, CO. We went on three really cool hikes. First to the Liberty Cap in Colorado National Monument.

Then the Serpents Trail which was originally used by cars to travel through the Monument. It was dubbed the crookedest road in America and before cars were built with fuel pumps they needed to drive up the road backwards to keep the fuel flowing to the engine.

We also did a cool short hike through Ladder Canyon to an old mica mine.

And on Saturday we headed down to Delta to visit my mom and Riley. They took us on a lovely tour of Ouray and Telluride. Thanks tour guide Riley!

We are loving western Colorado!

  1. Hi Guys,

How do you keep all of this scenery straight. Hope you are picking out some best pics for framing. Loved the silhouette shadow pic.
