We spent a few days in Fargo, ND on the way to Montana and it was great! One of the coolest things we did was visit the Hjemkomst Museum (technically across the border in Minnesota). It’s a museum dedicated to a cross-Atlantic voyage via a Viking ship built by a family in Moorehead, MN in the 80s.

The museum grounds also included a replica of a Norwegian church dating back to when Christianity was first introduce to Norway.
The Plains Art Museum was also near our downtown Airbnb. It’s dedicated to contemporary art with a focus on regional artists and admission is free to all.

We also had tons of good food and drinks which I mostly forgot to take pictures of. I’d recommend Fargo for a (summertime) visit to anyone!
